It seems a few bits of information I previously posted were wrong or as some UK customers would sometimes say "It's all gone Pete Tong"

A bit of a stir was created following my previous post on the SmarterTools Upgrade Protection Program.

I incorrectly stated that by purchasing the Upgrade Protection Promotion you would also be able to upgrade your version limits at the same time (such as increase number of sites / users / agents and move from PRO to ENT versions).

In an email conversation last week I confirmed with SmarterTools via email the details of the Upgrade Protection Promotion. I specifically asked about upgrading limits and about Pro to Ent upgrades and I was told that this was included within the promotion.

So I prepared all the information for the ServerTastic site and blog. I have now had to correct this information on the site and the original blog post.

Now that I have corrected the information please do not forget that this promotion still represents a good saving if you want to upgrade your current installation to the latest version within the next 12 months.
