Can I upgrade from Professional to Enterprise and receive free add-ons?
Yes you can. However the add-ons will only be valid up to your current upgrade protection expiry. If you upgrade from Pro to Ent and do not have any upgrade protection in place the add-ons will not be included.
How many ActiveSync mailboxes are included?
100 Activesync mailboxes are included in the promotion. If you require more you can purchase extra once they have been assigned.
Are the add-ons included with upgrade protection renewals?
The promotion does not include upgrade protection renewals or re-instatement. You may get better value for money purchasing a new key instead.
I have an old Professional key with no upgrade protection can I get the add-ons?
You will need to first re-instate the upgrade protection and then purchase and upgrade to Enterprise. We will assign the add-ons during the Enterprise upgrade.
I have SmarterMail Professional with more than 60 days of Upgrade Protection remaining can I get the free add-ons?
If you upgrade your key to Enterprise then you will receive the add-ons for no extra charge. However the add-ons will only be valid up to the end of your upgrade protection. When you renew your upgrade protection you will also have to renew the add-ons if you want to maintain them.
Why are the add-ons only available for SmarterMail Enterprise?
The cost of licencing the add-ons from Commtouch and Microsoft means they can only be supplied with the Enterprise version.
What happens when my upgrade protection expires?
The add-ons will also expire at the same time as your upgrade protection. You must renew your upgrade protection AND the add-ons you want to maintain.
How long are the add-ons valid?
The add-ons are valid until your upgrade protection expires (12 months for new purchases). After this time you will have to purchase a renewal of add-ons you want to maintain.
Can I get the add-ons without upgrade protection?
No. The add-ons can only be supplied if your key has current upgrade protection.
When does the promotion end?
It ends on 5 January 2012 or once all promotional units have been depleted. Whichever comes first.
